We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Digital Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team across a variety of digital channels. This is an entry-level role for someone looking to build a strong foundation in digital marketing while gaining hands-on experience in multiple disciplines.

Please note: This is a full time position with preference given to those living in Victoria, BC (or surrounding area). We are looking for an individual, not a contractor or agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform website content updates and routine website maintenance, including software updates
• Assist with web page content creation and updates
• Create and schedule social media posts
• Design digital assets, including PPC advertisements and general marketing graphics
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
• Publish and format blog content
• Manage Google Business profile posts and respond to customer reviews
• Assist with ongoing digital marketing initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic web design knowledge
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging content
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Experience

• 1-2 years of real-world work experience, design portfolio is beneficial
• General knowledge of digital marketing strategies and best practices is considered an asset
• Basic understanding of PPC advertising and SEO principles
• General knowledge of WordPress and WP Bakery, Webflow experience an asset
